PK - The Movie

I'm back...didn't post for a few days as I was busy. This post is going to be about the hindi movie 'PK'. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, who has already proved his talent in portraying sensitive stories with no shortage in comedy, PK also turns out to be a movie filled with countless laugh-out-loud moments.

This was my first FDFS hindi movie and the response from the crowd was awesome, even here in Tamil Nadu. It’s just the first week but I can assure you that the Rajkumar Hirani-Aamir Khan duo is going to loot the box office for the second time. Please watch the teaser on YouTube before watching the movie. Definitely your experience will be enhanced if you do so.

Now let's see how your experience will be when you watch the movie. The screen time is mostly taken up by Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma who team up and try to prove "something". What is that "something"? Don't look for an answer from my post :) Aamir has again proved his worth as an actor and Anushka has also acted very well. She looks super cute with those boy cuts and all. The rest of the cast includes Shushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani and a few others.

So what does the film try to convey? It tries to state a fact that "some" belief in this world, which exists from the birth of mankind, is followed by us in a way it shouldn't be. It might sound crazy, but trust me guys, the makers have hit the bulls eye. The movie makes us laugh and at the same time it makes us think. For a small kid whose age is still a single digit number, it might just be a comedy movie. But for you, all those funny things will make sense. As you keep watching, a question arises within yourself, "Am I a fool to have believed it for so long without thinking anything about it?" And it’s up to you to think and find an answer.

On the whole, the movie will be a fresh and different experience. Apart from the story, the movie is also a visual treat. That is the locations, costumes and other such things show the aesthetic sense of the makers. The songs by Shantanu Moitra is also good, but not exceptional and is used at the right places without spoiling the flow of the movie.

So PK is a must watch movie and I'm sure that people from all backgrounds will like the movie. And please go to the theatre and watch it. Instead if you buy a DVD or download it from the torrent you will definitely miss a lot of good experiences. That’s it guys.
