How To Get Away With Murder Review

Hey guys this is my first post and happy reading. How to get away with murder started airing on ABC from fall 2014. It is thriller which deals with the life of people who are into law. May be similar to Suits and Boston Legal but not exactly the same kind of plot.


The plot revolves around Annalise, a strict professor and a defence attorney who with the help of some of her students fights cases (and wins them :P). The episodes follow two timelines. One which deals with a particular case each episode and the other, a flash forward, where the main characters fall into serious problem.

The show has a lot of "what's going to happen next" moments which proves that it is a watchable thursday night thriller. The main characters are Annalise, her hubby, the law students and Annalise's associates. There is one more very important character in the show whom I'm not going to reveal now (watch the show to know who it is). People who have watched it already should have guessed it by now.

So is this show similar to a usual law show where the protagonist(s) solves the cases and wins them for their clients? Well for some part yes but it is not completely an usual show as the title adds literal sense to what I say here. Watch the show to understand what I mean. And about the happenings in the law school, it really is not believable. From what I have heard, the activities that the characters in the law school do as portrayed in the show are nowhere close to actual activities in the real world. That might be minus for this show. On the other hand Viola Davis' (Annalise Keating) acting is extra-ordinary.
