Leave windows vs android, if I have to pick one among the two mobiles which I have used, it would definitely be Lumia 630. Galaxy ace plus was ginger bread. Its user interface sucked to core. I was fed up with it and decided no more android. It was that time in mid 2014 when Nokia (Microsoft) was rolling out many Lumia models and I ended up buying Lumia 630.
Initial impressions were, as always, very good. Fluidic, good response time and display is good enough for daily use. So why did I prefer windows over newer versions of android like Jellybean or KitKat? For me the look of the OS was very important. Like live tiles, lock screen images and various other options were available in windows. Even android had it but it lacked that aesthetic touch. Having live tiles and some transparent tiles brought more flow and liveliness to the experience of using the phone. On the other hand android only had some blocks of icons. It was so dull. Especially that blue tint in some versions of android made it look like the phone was so moody.
Leaving looks apart, which phone has more features? Android would win the battle easily. The scale of apps available on android is nowhere comparable with that of a windows phone. What is the reason? Android is more successful than windows in terms of number of users. Many people started buying android phones before windows phone was able to make a considerable mark in the market. So the app developers started making many apps for android and windows apps started rolling out very late.
If you are looking for more features but satisfied with normal looks you can definitely go for android. If you want your experience to be visually pleasing and if somewhat mediocre features are enough then you can go for windows.
